Thornhill, Ontario has helped spawn some horrible, horrible things. Philosopher Kings, for one. Disturbing conformity for another. But if there's one reason to live in the famed Hill of Thorn, it's because that's exactly where Eww... You're A Girl and Girls Suck! are from, and there's a good chance that you'll meet at least one of the members at a local Mac's. Their first demo, aptly entitled Moodswings, sold out after only a few shows. The band watched their popularity increase at every performance, and finally decided to pump out Somethin' For The Ladies, their debut CD EP. 666 seconds of rockabilly-pop-punk-new-wave madness, and worth every penny. Such songs as "Being Neutered," "I Hate Alanis Morissette," "I Wish I Was Joey Jerimiah," and "The Kind Of People" (the latter only available on Ductape's Music To Fall Asleep By comp) are all crowd favorites, and rightfully so. These guys know how to put on a stage show like no other band from this city ever has. See 'em to believe it. The band is still playing constantly, and are hitting the studio early in September of '99 to record six new songs!
